LEAVING A LEGACY BEHIND

We all want our children to be successful. We all know that our actions will create a lasting impact in their lives. And unfortunately, we all know that we will not be around forever. That is why we must live a life of legacy.

ALL THE WAY

For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4.6-8 (NIV)

WHAT TRULY MATTERS IS HOW YOU FINISH

Paul has done many amazing things in his life. He was a brilliant scholar. “The Apostle Paul” was the most successful church planter of his generation. He has seen God working in supernatural ways in him and through him. But in the end, what truly matters to Paul is that he is about to finish well.

Paul had a rough start with the Early Church. He hit a few snags along the way. Plenty of highs and plenty of lows. But what matters to him in the end is how he will finish: faith and perseverance all the way.

IT’S HARD TO GO ALL THE WAY

Many gifted servants of God failed to reach the finish line. How do we make sure we will not repeat their mistake?

CLARITY OF CALLING

Our mission is a life and death issue. Eternal life and eternal death. We must be clear about the importance and details of our calling in God’s Kingdom.

COURAGE UNDER DISTRESS

People are easily scared. Our enemy is not flesh and blood. They are powerful. They are good at what they do. But if God is for us who can be against us? Are we going to look at our weakness or God’s greatness?

CELEBRATE EVERY VICTORY

Yes what matters is how finish. But unless we learn how to appreciate every victory God has given us, we will not have the joy and gratitude that are necessary to finish well.

ARE YOU READY TO GO ALL THE WAY? ARE YOU PREPARING THE NEXT GENERATION TO GO ALL THE WAY?
